My academic career started under the supervision of Professor Dr. Hartmut Stadtler at Technische Universität Darmstadt, Germany.

After earning a degree in Industrial Engineering from Technische Universität Darmstadt, I started to work in the Department of Production & Supply Chain Management there.

My research topics have been in the area of Supply Chain Management and Advanced Planning with a special emphasis on production and optimization.

Resultant are my doctoral thesis which deals with production planning problems in the process industries and several other research papers and book contributions.
